But to be 100 up front with info, this lens may a left, and it right. I don't know how to tell for sure. Also, some of the other similar lens seem to have a complete uniform rounding on top and bottom profile. I can run my fingernail inside the lens and not feel ding.

The ding, visible in photo, does not go all way through lens. The photo looks like it is a hole. But it seems from the overall shape of lens that should fit either way, up or down.

This lens has a flattened side of what is either the top or bottom. Some of the red has faded. I was told it a Porsche. There was a vintage Porsche housed at this property.

But its info for those who know more about this than I do. For info, I found this lens on a property bought. I'm not saying this lens came from a 1962 Porsche.

I'm not sure if this flattened side would be installed up or down.
